What is it like to work with Walden Homes? Let our customers tell you!
Challenge: The house size was at its maximum. The young family of six needed more space, and they would be living in the house during the renovation.
Solution: Maximize functionality of the entire house by creating separate activity zones. To make the house livable during the renovations, each zone would be completed as a separate project with its own timeline.
The fitness zone: An unused attached double car garage at the back of the home was transformed into a fully loaded fitness and spa area with steam shower and sauna.
The kids’ zone: the dark and musty basement was gutted, excavated, underpinned and refitted from top to bottom. This zone includes an area for crafts, ping pong and pool tables, a stage where the kids put on plays, a media area, music centre and more.
Quiet zone: This involved gutting and reworking a little-used corner behind the more formal living room. Carpenters turned this space into a gem of a room, with walnut cabinetry, paneling and fireplace.
The project continues and there is more to come...
Walden has helped us squeeze every inch of usable space out of our home. We are so happy with the work that they did, the process that they use, and the high level of service that they provide. Danny was there at every step of the way to make sure that everything was taken care. We really appreciate all of his effort.
