What is it like to work with Walden Homes? Let our customers tell you!
CHALLENGE: The kitchen was small, cluttered and impractical, approached through a narrow, restrictive hallway. The dining room was confining and the living room was isolated from the rest of the main floor.
SOLUTION: Eliminate all the "bottle necks" in the house. A small extension was added to the rear of the house. Several structural steel beams were installed to support sections of the second floor, freeing up space for a large central island. The connection between kitchen and dining room was improved and is perfect for entertaining. The entry to the kitchen from the hallway now flows beautifully. A small but functional powder room was installed below the main floor staircase. A handy unit was added to the underside of the staircase for storage.
Our project was well organized. There was constant communication so I never had to worry that something would get overlooked. Walden's team of trades showed up every day and the renovation was finished on schedule. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship. There is not a single thing that we would change about our new kitchen.
